By James W, Wednesday 2nd April 2014

7th Heaven - Series 3
Weekdays at 3pm, repeated the following weekday at 10am and Saturday omnibus from 10am
From Spelling Television and Brenda Hampton, this critically acclaimed award-winning family drama about a minister, his wife and their (now) seven children, stars a young Jessica Biel. In season 3, we finally get to understand why this long-running series has its title. This series sees the arrival of twins to add to the Camden brood.

Starting where season two left off, season three sees Annie announcing that, through a mix-up with the pregnancy tests, it is she and Eric who are pregnant, not Mary and her ex, Wilson. Furthermore, Annie is expecting twins, but a jealous Ruthie has the morning sickness. Meanwhile, Mary and Lucy engage in a flirting contest when Mary doubts the validity of The Rules, a handbook on dating.

Las Vegas Jailhouse - Seasons 1-3
Saturdays and Sundays at 11pm from 13th April

Las Vegas Jailhouse is an American documentary television series that shows Las Vegas police officers handling the detention and booking process of various criminals arrested in Las Vegas, most of which are drunk drivers, the publicly intoxicated, and prostitutes. The show is filmed in the Clark County Detention Center.

The show was created by John Langley and Morgan Langley, creator of the popular show COPS.
The opening season sees officers resorting to tough tactics when a man who is brought in for trespassing decides to get physical. Then, an OAP is brought in for hitting her husband after he taunts her about an affair lasting decades. Plus, a veteran prostitute opens up about her aspirations of running an escort business. In a later episode, a transgender brought in for prostitution shares his life story about his former life in the Green Berets. Later, a man brought in for domestic violence claims his father is an attorney and will charge the officers with abuse and harsh treatment. Finally, a woman arrested for DUI tells the cameras that during the day she's a dental hygienist, but at night she's a stripper at a club.

The District - Season 3
Weekdays at 5pm and 9pm repeated the following weekday at noon

A drama inspired by the real-life experiences of former New York Deputy Police Commissioner Jack Maple, The District revolves around Jack Mannion (Craig T. Nelson), a tenacious champion of the underdog and an avowed crime-fighter, whose revolutionary tactics have resulted in a 50-percent drop in crime, first in Boston, then in Newark, N.J.

His latest challenge is Washington, D.C., which, despite being home to more law enforcement agencies than any other city on the planet, is riddled with crime and has a local police department that is demoralized and ineffective. Appointed Chief of Police by the mayor, Mannion works closely at Police Headquarters with Deputy Chief Joe Noland (Roger Aaron Brown). In his quest to "make crime a thing of the past," Mannion has recruited Temple Page (Sean Patrick Thomas), a young detective on the force who is Mannion's eyes and ears on the most crime-ridden, drug-infested streets in America. Nancy Parras (Elizabeth Marvel), an intuitive officer, rounds out the chief's inner circle. Kevin Debreno Jonathan LaPaglia, the newest member of Mannion's unit, continues to challenge himself and his partner, Temple, at every turn. Together, Mannion and his team form a modern-day Untouchables, determined to make the District livable for all its citizens.
