Unsolved Mysteries is the cult series which presents accounts of bizarre and unnatural happenings. How many of the mysteries below can you explain?

5: Stigmata – This is when a person is afflicted with the wounds of Jesus’s crucifixion. Usually appearing on hands and feet, the first recorded stigmata dates to St Francis of Assisi who lived between 1186 to 1226.

4: Jack the Ripper – The most famous serial killer of all time, Jack the Ripper stalked the foggy streets of London in the 1880s. Slaughtering at least 11 women, his identity is still unknown.

3: The Loch Ness Monster – For centuries it’s been reported that a large, dinosaur-like creature swims across the legendary Loch every so often. There’s an investigation going on right this minute!

2: Shroud of Turin – Believed by many to be the shroud that was wrapped around Christ after his crucifixion, many more believe it to be a hoax.

1: The Bermuda Triangle – Also known as The Devil’s Triangle, this sea space between Florida, Bermuda and Puerto Rico has seen many ships and aircraft disappear from the area since the 1950s. What causes them to just vanish?
