We understand a lot of Freeview viewers are having problems receiving CBS Drama after our recent move. The following may help clear up any confusion.


CBS Drama is still available to Freeview customers. Due to a frequency change last week, the channel reaches fewer households and requires viewers to have equipment compatible with the DVB-T2 broadcast standard (Freeview HD, Freeview Play, YouView). For those living in areas where it's still available, it's now on channel 71.

CBS Drama - Coming To Freeview Channel 74 From September 1st.

CBS Drama is expanding its reach by launching on the UK’s biggest free-to-air digital television provider, Freeview, on September 1st. Dallas Legend Larry Hagman Dies Aged 81

It is with great sadness that we report Larry Hagman, star of the legendary series Dallas has died at the age of 81.

Hagman, who helped to make his character J.R. one of the most memorable and best loved TV villains in the world, appeared in every single episode of the original run and also starred in the recent re-boot.

He will also be remembered for playing the character of Tony Nelson in the hit comedy I Dream Of Jeannie during the 1960s.

Our thoughts go to his family and friends at this sad time.

A Note From CBS Drama

We are sad to confirm that we've decided not to continue airing the two daily soap operas, DAYS OF OUR LIVES and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS on CBS Drama.

After three years on the channel they are no longer rating as highly as the new drama shows and soaps in the schedule, so we're unable to justify licensing further episodes. We sincerely regret the disappointment we know will be felt by devoted fans.
